Because our coffee table exploded last night. It was crazy! The table has (um...had) two different levels - the one underneath had wheels and could be pulled out to rest drinks, etc. on. Kyle and I made a lovely dinner for ourselves, and planned on catching a nice little episode of Law and Order while enjoying it, so I went over to the table to pull out the bottom edge for our plates. This is was the result. The glass went everywhere - we had to clear everything out of the living room to clean up, and even still, Kyle found Kitty batting around a nice chunk of glass this morning. Excellent.

Haha yes, yes I do. Unbelievable, I know. Only you would truly know how long that thing has been part of my repetoire.
